Definitely going to make a new “Don’t Make Me Pull Out My Books” tomorrow.
Just completed my notes, as scanty as they are, and found some really interesting tidbits in the narrative.
Unfortunately, because it is a far more abstract topic, the vlog will be even more disorganized than usual. Sorry in advance, y’all.
I make a lot of references to my Sherlock Holmes pastiche collection. Figured I would show it off a bit. I’m quite proud of it, even though it’s rather uneven in terms of quality.

That would be my Sherlock Holmes bookshelf. As for what’s on it?
snakeslide replied to your post: I am tentatively back. I took my computer in, and…
where are you that it’s 85 degrees? jfc it’s like 50 here
Ha, I live in Ohio. We’re having unseasonably warm weather. It’s been in the eighties since mid-April. We went from 30 degrees to 80 in two days.
I’m mostly amused about it, though- I grew up in Michigan, so I’m used to yo-yo weather far more than Ohioans seem to be. Plus, I get to chat with my mum and casually tell her how hot it is, while she’s still wearing sweaters and shivering.
I am sad for you, though. I would honestly trade in a heartbeat. I’m not a fan of heat.
I am tentatively back. I took my computer in, and after they opened it up, they said that the fan was working just fine, but so covered in dust and shit that it wasn’t actually working at efficiency. So they cleaned it up, and… my computer no longer sounds like a freight train? So maybe it will stop crashing every ten minutes or so?
I don’t know yet. I’m going to fuss with it, run some of my larger programs, maybe make a “Don’t Make Me Pull Out My Books” to talk about Irene and Moriarty (maybe, big maybe- I have a thousand theatre obligations this weekend), and then I’ll say we’re good.
Also, I was able to convince the heating repair people to go into my flat while I wasn’t there and fix the air conditioner, so my flat is no longer 85 degrees! Which should help my computer a bit.
